Peter Kuhn aka Mister Goodcat:

I started working in the industry in 1999 (with years of private programming experience behind me at that time already), and over the years went through being a developer, a project manager and finally a technical director. My software projects included mostly business software, some of which nominated for innovation awards, but I've gathered some experience in the professional gaming industry as well. At the moment I work as Senior Consultant/Architect and Head of Azure for the German company Applied Information Technologies. 

Starting with a beta version of .NET in 2001, I was thrilled by it right from the start, and I still love working with that technology. With the release of Silverlight 2, I picked up this new technology for web business applications too, and again am very excited about it until this very day. The release of Windows Phone 7 added a new pet to that collection - I love working with both Silverlight and XNA on this platform. Besides these topics, my fields of interest are software design and architecture, multi-threading, semantic technologies and security aspects of modern software.

I am a top 3 member of Microsoft's Silverlight community; for this involvement I have earned the Microsoft Community Contributor award in 2011.
